UEENEEP026A Conduct in Service Safety Testing of Cord Connected Equipment and Cord Assemblies
In this course students will learn how to inspect, test and tag portable plug in appliances, extension leads, and RCD,s "safety switches". Learning outcomes include: the legal requirements of test & tag in the workplace, testing and reporting in accordance with Australian Standards AS3760 and codes of practice, how to use a portable appliance tester and basic electrical principals. Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a statement of attainment and be able to test and tag plug in electrical equipment in all workplaces in Australian states and territories. We also provide ongoing phone support and advice after the course.
Course duration is 8hrs and no previous electrical experience is required to complete this course. Students must also complete UEENEEE101A to receive a statement of attainment

In This course students will learn to apply safe working practices whilst at work. Learning outcomes include: The legal requirements of workers in the work place, how to manage risk including risk assessment and site specific safety requirements, how to use typical workplace documentation including work permits and entry permits, licence and ticketing requirements and the roll of safety committies.
For the purpose of practical assessment this course must be completed in conjunction with another accredited course listed on this page. The course duration is 8hrs of in class learning or students can choose to complete the knowledge component online.   
Fire Extinguisher Inspection Course
Inspection & Maintenance of Portable Fire Protection Equipment
In this course students will learn how inspect and apply the appropriate testing for Fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire blankets and smoke detectors in accordance with sections 1,6,9,10 & 11 of AS1851. This course is ideal for people who would like to maintain fire protection equipment in the workplace including workshops construction sites and mobile plant and vehicles. Additional learning outcomes include the required reporting and building surveys needed to         establish annual fire safety statements. The course duration is 8hrs in class with a certificate of achievement issued upon successful completion. No previous fire industry experience is required to complete this course.

In this course students will learn how to safely use a variety of hand and power tools typically used in the construction industry. This course is ideal for students who would like to prepare for work in the building & construction industry. Learning outcomes include: Plan and prepare to use tools, Select and use hand and power tools, Conduct house keeping. Upon successful completion of the course students will have measured, cut out and put together a typical stud wall arrangement. The duration of the course is 8hrs in class, a certificate of attainment will be issued upon successful completion. No previous experience is required to complete this course.

In this course students will learn how to safely operate a variety of small plant and equipment typically used in the construction industry. This course is ideal for students who would like to prepare for work in the building & construction industry. Learning outcomes include: Plan and prepare operate equipment, Conduct pre-operational checks, Use plant and equipment, Carry out operator maintenance and conduct house keeping activities.Upon successful completion of the course students will have operated a 240v generator set to power compressed air equipment and nail gun. The duration of the course is 8hrs in class, a certificate of attainment will be issued upon successful completion. No previous experience is required to complete this course.
