NSW Smart and Skilled Funded Training

Axiom Compliance Learning is a proud provider of the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled Program.
NSW Smart and Skilled is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system and is helping people in NSW get the skills they need to secure employment and advance their careers.
Eligibility
  • Eligibility: You may be eligible for funding if you live or work in NSW and are-
  • An Australian or NZ citizen
  • an Australian permanent resident
  • a humanitarian visa holder
  • aged 15 years or older
  • and no longer in secondary education
We are currently approved to deliver CPC32820 Certificate III in Fire Protection (Release 4).
There are also some exceptions to the eligibility conditions, such as for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live in specific, defined areas outside the NSW border.

The training and assessment rules for nationally recognised units/qualifications are available on training.gov.au. All registered training organisations develop their own training and assessment materials, which must meet these rules. When sourcing a training provider, it is always prudent to investigate whether the provider adheres to training package rules and standards for RTO’s 2015. Be aware that non-compliance may result in your qualification/certificate being cancelled, particularly where providers take shortcuts with assessment tasks.
