The standard test & tag course involves 4 hours of training and an online theory quiz. This course provides students with the same training as the accredited course without having to complete the additional unit of competency -UEECD0007 which is not required in NSW. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of achievement. 3 months to complete from the training date.Extension available for $100- 2months.

3 Phase Appliance Testing

Duration: 3 hours Face to Face

In this course, students will learn how to test and tag 3 phase appliances and extension cords. During the course, a range of 3 phase test adaptors will be used and participants are invited to bring any testing equipment to be instructed in its safe use. A short theory lesson and practical testing tasks will be assessed with a certificate of achievement issued upon successful completion. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed the 240v test and tag course before attempting this course. 3 months to complete from the training date.Extension available for $100- 2months

Fixed RCD Testing

Duration: 2 hours Face to Face
Skill Level: Intermediate

Testing fixed RCD's in the workplace and residential tenancies are required by law. For most workplaces, the test interval is yearly, whilst residential tenancies have a requirement of testing at the renewal of a tenancy agreement. In this course, students will learn how to correctly test fixed RCD,s. After a short theory lesson students will demonstrate testing a range of fixed RCD,s using a range of testing equipment. A certificate of achievement will be issued upon successful completion of this course. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed the 240v test and tag course before attempting this course. 3 months to complete from the training date.Extension available for $100- 2months

Replace 240 Volt Plugs And Sockets

Duration: 2 hours- Face to Face or Online study
Skill Level: Intermediate
Price: $110inc
Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed the 240v test and tag course before attempting this course. In this course, students will learn how to correctly remove and replace 240v cord plugs and sockets. Students will complete a short theory lesson and then select the appropriate tools to make a 240v extension lead. The course can be completed in approximately 2 hours with a certificate of achievement issued after successful completion. 3 months to complete from the training date.Extension available for $100- 2months

The training and assessment rules for nationally recognised units/qualifications are available on training.gov.au. All registered training organisations develop their own training and assessment materials, which must meet these rules. When sourcing a training provider, it is always prudent to investigate whether the provider adheres to training package rules and standards for RTO’s 2015. Be aware that non-compliance may result in your qualification/certificate being cancelled, particularly where providers take shortcuts with assessment tasks.
